Academic activities are concentrated in Sustainable Economics research group at Kaunas University of Technology School of Economics and Business (KTU SEB), Lithuania. Rytis is also actively teaching Professor in Finance (since 2012) and a Chairman of KTU Senate (since 2016). His phd thesis „Managerial decision‘s selection for technology adoption to increase company value” were defended in 2008. He is also former head of Institutional Economic Research Program for 2012 – 2014 “Lithuania Economy Sustainable Competitiveness Challenges” funded by The Research Council of Lithuania. Rytis also is a member of different project development and implementation teams, editorial boards, expert in various university, business, state and EU funded actions. Research interests and professional experience include areas of financial management, economic and social effectiveness measurement, cost – benefit analysis, technology investment valuation, strategic financial management decisions, financial planning and modelling.
