The recruiment of ERA Chair holder will be carried out by the project’s steering committee led by the project coordinator and the whole process will be reported to the European Commission.

|5||Once the final ranking is approved by the EC, the first candidates of the ranking list (up to 10) are invited for a face-to-face or remote interview if they cannot come to Lithuania. Final scoring of each candidate.||M8||
|6||The project coordinator provides the assessment of all the interviewed candidates to the EC.||M9|
|7||Once the final scoring is approved by the EC, all interviewed candidates are provided with their assessment and a contract offer proposed to the candidate with the highest final score.||M9||Candidate with the highest final score will have 10 working days to provide an answer. If this candidate declines the offer or fails to provide an answer by the time limit, the candidate with the second highest final score will be proposed a contract offer, and so on.|
|8||Once the selected candidate has confirmed the acceptance of the job offer by signing the employment contract, project coordinator informs EC about offer acceptance.||M9|
|9||The newly-recruited ERA Chair holder is provided with administrative support.||M10||Administrative support provided to receive visa / working permit application, should it be required. Support in relocation or pre-employment matters.|
